Improving academic staff capacities in Research in Teacher Education (part 3)

On March 16-17, the QATEK project organized the third session of the capacity building program on research in teacher education module with the topic “Statistical test and statistical associations using SPSS”.

The main objective of the workshop was to engage participants in practical learning with data analysis through SPSS. The workshop covered topics on how to calculate descriptive statistics (and what they mean) as well as basic statistical tests such as t-tests, ANOVAs, nonparametric test, correlation and chi-square. Furthermore, participants learned how to choose an appropriate statistical test and receive guidance on how to interpret and write up the results.

The workshop was facilitated by the University of Ljubljana Professors, Prof. Dr. Janez Vogrinc and Ass. Miha Matjašič, PhD candidate.

18 participants from the Faculty of Education in Prishtina, Gjakova and Mitrovica attended.
