Faculty of Computer Science

The Faculty of Computer Sciences was established on October 1, 2014, and in the academic year 2014/2015, it had 50 active students. Over the years, the number of students at FCS has increased. From 2020 to 2023, a total of 661 students have been registered in bachelor’s and master’s programs.

Our specific focus is on Technology, with specializations in Software Engineering and Web Design, as well as System and Control Technology. This places us at the forefront of education and innovation, shaping new generations to contribute to various positions in the job market and encouraging entrepreneurship in the development of various systems and applications.

As a result of connecting activities, the mission of the faculty is to prepare new generations that contribute to the field of Information Technology, working for Kosovo, Europe, and America, with a particular focus on remote work opportunities. Additionally, through education at FCS, the aim is to improve individual awareness within society.

Currently, the Faculty of Computer Sciences offers the following study programs:

Reaccredited for a 5-year period from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2026:

  1. Computer Science, BSc, 180 ECTS

Accredited for a 3-year period from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024:

  1. Control Systems and Artificial Intelligence, MSc, 120 ECTS
  2. E-Governance, MSc, 120 ECTS

Web Developer/Designer: Focusing on web design and development, graduates can work on creating and maintaining websites, user interfaces, and web applications.

System and Control Engineer: Specializing in system and control technology, graduates can work on designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various applications such as automation, robotics, and industrial processes.

Artificial Intelligence Engineer: With a background in Control Systems and Artificial Intelligence, graduates can pursue careers in developing AI algorithms, machine learning models, and applications that leverage artificial intelligence.

E-Governance Specialist: Graduates in E-Governance can contribute to the development and implementation of electronic systems for government processes, improving efficiency and transparency.
