During the meeting held on 16.01.2024, the Council of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, decided to establish STEM Center of the UKZ. The head of UKZ-STEM Center is prof.dr. Xhevdet Thaqi.
The purpose of this center is to promote and develop the knowledge of UKZ students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Within the framework of the UKZ-STEM Center, the Austrian Development Cooperation STEM Laboratory, donated by donated by HERAS+ WUS Austria, has been operationalized

UKZ has been accepted as a full member of the STEM EUROPE

EU STEM Coalition

With the support of the European Commission and the ERASMUS+ program, the EU STEM Coalition is based at the National STEM Platform of the Netherlands in The Hague and Utrecht.

Koalicioni EU STEM is a pan-European (European Union) network working to build better STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education in Europe.

The goal of this coalition is to shape STEM education policies and practices that promote economic growth, opportunity, and well-being for all. Together with policy makers, education providers and industry, the EU STEM Coalition works to promote new ways of delivering education and to find and share evidence-based solutions to skills challenges in STEM. It aims to reduce the shortage of skilled people in STEM by fostering new ways in which educational institutions, companies and governments can collaborate. The EU STEM Coalition provides a unique forum and knowledge center for data and analysis, sharing of best practices and direct support.
