Exchange Programs

The University “Kadri Zeka” sector for the International Cooperation since the establishment of the University, international relations have been given the highest priority which is clearly stated in the University mission.

The Sector is responsible for establishing and developing the cooperation on a bilateral, regional and multilateral level through project activities, workshops and seminars, students’ and teachers’ mobility, knowledge and technology transfer, participation in scientific conferences, participation in academic networks and associations, etc.

Internationalization platform is focused on the implementation of Bologna process, compatibility with the EU higher educational programs, university degree recognition and the enhancement of competitiveness on national and international level.

Long-term bilateral cooperation with foreign universities is realized through various areas which directly reflect the mutual priorities and the interests of contracting parties.

The University of Gjilan also upgrades its international cooperation by participating and encourages its faculties to apply for educational and research projects (ERASMUS +, HORIZONT 2020, etc…) and other international grants aimed at the acquisition of material resources for the advancement of higher education teaching process and research work.

The University of Gjilan closely cooperates with foreign embassies, consulates and other organizations and foundations which award scholarships to its students showing extraordinary accomplishments in the course of their studies.

The University of Gjilan remains open for further initiatives for establishing new forms of cooperation with foreign universities and other international organizations of good will that contribute to the development of education, science and culture.
