Evaluation Report of the Measuring Card of University Autonomy in Kosovo – STAND Project

Rector of the University “Kadri Zeka” Prof. Dr. Bajram Kosumi, Vice Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Assoc. Dr. Dukagjin Leka and Prof. Ass. Dr. Selim Daku represented the University “Kadri Zeka” at the roundtable where the Evaluation Report of the Measuring Card of University Autonomy in Kosovo was presented within the project “Strengthening university autonomy and increasing accountability and transparency in Western Balkan universities – STAND”.

The STAND project, which is coordinated by IBCM College and funded by the EU through the Erasmus + program, aims to verify the validity of the evaluation process, carried out in partner universities (and other invited non-partner universities), as well as in the Ministry of Education, Science , Technology and Innovation (MEST).

The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci also participated in this roundtable, thanking the local and international partners who are helping in the development of HEIs. She stressed that MEST welcomes the conclusions and recommendations arising from this roundtable, in order to take the necessary measures and actions in the future, to further support the autonomy, accountability, performance and development of our universities.

The importance of the Project, which is based on higher education reform, was also emphasized by the representative of the EU Office in Kosovo, Stergios Tragoudas.
