ATEE

 

Kadri Zeka University in Gjilan is a full member of the European Teachers Association. The European Teacher Association (ATEE) is a non-profit European organization whose aim is to whose aim is enhancing the quality of Teacher Education in Europe and supporting the professional development of teachers and teacher educators at all levels. ATEE members are individuals and institutions involved in research and teacher preparation practices, inside and outside university higher education. ATEE has the governing administrative body – the Administrative Council, which consists of the members that help it determine policies and strategies. The Administrative Council is led by the President of the Council. The most important decisions (e.g. statute changes, etc.) are taken by the General Assembly, where all members have the right to vote. Research and Development Centers (RDCs) are organized around specific topics. In this way they create a platform for teacher educators who share the same interest. Activities supported by RDCs may vary from joint research, EU funded projects, joint publication preparations (eg a thematic issue such as the European Journal of Teacher Education), etc. The current ATEE research projects in which “Kadri Zeka” University participates are:
